“专业口译篇”以“会议口译”的教学为探讨重点,以七章篇幅探讨课程定位、教学目标、教学条件与口译评鉴、课程规划的原则等问题。在课程规划上,依照技术性的难易程度分为纵向(以口译技术为主轴而由基础到进阶的核心课程)与横向(由技术性核心课程以及涵盖语言与知识的周边课程架构而成)的课程划分。此外,通过实际的教学记录与归纳分析,以及针对专业考试所做的评鉴报告,总结上述课程规划的具体落实方向。 “应用外语篇”各章都是笔者近年在中、港、台三地学术研讨会上所提出的论文或学术刊物上发表的期刊论文。其中,第二章“口译教学三要素”,是2002年受邀于韩国外国语大学所提出的研讨会论文,当年以英文在韩国出版。后来,承蒙广外蔡小红教授之邀,曾将中文论文纳入她主编的《口译研究新探》。但由于该书出版于香港,内地读者或许不易购读,且本文具有提纲挈领的作用,故重新收进《口译教学研究:理论与实践》(口译研究卷)。此外,第六章有关“电视口译”一文,曾由香港中文大学翻译研究中心译成英文,收录于Teaching
